LABMUNC

WHo we Are
LABMUNC is a Model United Nations conference hosted by the NYC Lab School for Collaborative Studies. Established in 2006, it has only grown and improved. Now averaging 350 delegates a conference, complete with a collection of creative and exhilarating committees and vibrant and stimulating crises, we hope to only expand our conference further. We pride ourselves on the liveliness of our committees crises with topics ranging anywhere from joint crisis committees on drug trade to futuristic committees discussing alien activity and interaction with the human race. At LABMUNC, we believe that crises are the backbone of any successful committee and are necessary to keep the flow of debate lively. We implement crises that range from natural disasters to assassinations, all relevant and important to a delegates experience in their committee.

Our Mission
Our goal is to give every delegate a fun, educational environment where they can think critically and creatively about politics and real world issues. To ensure this environment that applauds effort and dedication, we have decided to give each committee only a number of certificates for Outstanding Delegate that will be awarded to delegates who embody what Model UN means to us: an opportunity for confidence building and collaboration.
